Hunter grew up in the Florida Keys, learning about scuba diving and sea creatures from his talented parents and family at Slate’s Dive Shop.
A dedicated fisherman who has a genuine love for the water, Captain Hunter Slate is doing what he loves in the world class fishery of Louisiana!
Over the years, Hunter would take in wisdom from any and every knowledgeable fisherman. By the time he was in high school, he was already taking his own clients on fishing charters.
Hunter has since then travelled to gain fishing and hospitality experiences, ranging from Alaska, New Mexico, and now Louisiana.
Beginning his trek through Louisiana as a swamp tour guide, he has since moved on from kissing alligators to pursue his career as a fishing guide in Dulac, Louisiana.
